Arrest Made In Weekend Stabbing In Ottawa

One person has been arrested after a weekend stabbing in Ottawa.

Police say around 11:45pm Saturday, officers and Franklin County Sheriff Deputies were called to a home in the 800 block of South Sycamore Street.

When they arrived on scene, 24-year old Cameron Hartman was found stabbed.  He was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.

During their investigation, officers located and arrested a suspect matching the description given by the victim and witnesses near the intersection of East 8th Street and South Oak.

26-year-old Ferris Fuller was arrested for Aggravated Battery and is currently being held in the Franklin County Adult Detention Center pending formal charges.
