Division II Women’s Basketball Poll Released

Three MIAA teams are ranked in the initial Women’s Basketball Preseason poll. Emporia State, who won the MIAA post-season tournament is the highest ranked team coming in at #5 in the nation.

Central Missouri has been picked in the #8 spot in the preseason top 25. Washburn, who won the regular season crown in 2012-13, has been picked 22nd overall by the nation’s coaches. Pittsburg State, Northeastern State and Fort Hays State also received votes in the poll released today.
