Following a Big 12 Championship season in 2012 that included a No. 1 BCS national ranking and a berth in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, excitement is building for K-State’s 2013 football season and the opening of the new West Stadium Center at Bill Snyder Family Stadium as athletics officials announced today a full menu of ticket options for the upcoming schedule when season tickets go on sale Monday.
Fans will again be offered a variety of choices for season and single-game tickets in 2013 for a slate that includes eight games in Bill Snyder Family Stadium, including five against Big 12 opponents. The Wildcats’ 12-game slate includes nine opponents who were bowl eligible in 2012, six of which will visit Bill Snyder Family Stadium, plus two-time defending FCS National Champion North Dakota State.
Public season bench seating in Bill Snyder Family Stadium is priced at $320 again this season, a cost of $40 per game, while chairback seating remains at $355 or $44 per game. Prices for K-State faculty/staff are $255 for bench and $285 for chairback – a cost of $35 and $31 per game, respectively. A Young Alumni ticket package is available at only $200 for K-Staters who received their undergraduate degree since December 2008.
“With the grand-opening of the West Stadium Center, our legendary head coach Bill Snyder beginning his 22nd season and raising the flag of another Big 12 Conference football championship, it is an exciting time to be a Wildcat,” Currie said. “Last season’s fan support was incredible as we tied a school record with six sellouts and achieved the second-highest average attendance in school history. With eight home games in 2013, which includes first-time trips to Manhattan as Big 12 opponents for West Virginia and TCU, it is important to continue to provide our fans with different price levels and options and ensure that Bill Snyder Family Stadium is filled each home weekend this fall.”
