The Kansas Capital Area Chapter of the American Red Cross is gearing up to help damage ravaged Moore, OK.
According to a news release, they are mobilizing resources, including local volunteers, and more than 20 emergency response vehicles to provide support to the Oklahoma Red Cross.
The Topeka Emergency Response vehicle has been activated and will deploy as volunteers become available.
Additional resources include trailers of additional relief supplies including shelter supplies are being prepared to move.
