The Kansas Highway Patrol reported 14 injury accidents on Thursday and one so far this morning.
In Greeley County yesterday, two men from Tribune, both in their 20s, died in a single vehicle accident.
A third female passenger was injured when their pickup truck left the roadway, struck a power pole, and rolled.
No one was wearing a seat belt.
Steve Halbett with the Bureau of Transportation and Technology says before hitting the roadways, give 511 a call for current traveling conditions across the state.
He says to be aware that with rain and snow comes the threat of hydroplaning. He also says put down the cell phone and hamburger and keep two hands on the wheel, especially when driving on wet roads.
