Texas beat Kansas 35-13 in Austin Saturday, the 26th straight Big 12 loss for the Jayhawks. Malcolm Brown scored four touchdowns for Texas and finished with 119 yards rushing. Chris Whaley added a 40 yard fumble return score for the Longhorns. Whaley’s score broke the game open late in the second quarter, with Brown adding his third touchdown for a 28-6 halftime lead. Montell Cozart scored the only Jayhawk touchdown with three and a half minutes remaining. Jake Heaps threw for 160 yards for KU, which fell to 0-5 in the league and 2-6 overall. The Hawks play next Saturday at Oklahoma State.
