Jack Cantele kicked a 41 yard field goal with :03 left to give Kansas State a wild 33-31 come from behind victory Saturday in Manhattan.  It was Cantele’s fourth field goal of the game and it negated a 56 yarder by TCU’s Jaden Oberkrom that gave the Horned Frogs the lead with just 2:13 left.

Kansas State built a 17-7 lead at halftime on a 74 yard TD pass from Jake Waters to Tyler Lockett and a one yard run from Daniel Sams, as well as Cantele’s first field goal, a 31 yarder with :03 left in the second quarter.  After that, though, things got interesting as TCU scored a pair of touchdowns to go ahead 21-17 as Trevone Boykin threw for one score and ran for another.  The Cats quickly took the lead back on a 79 yard bomb from Waters to Tramaine Thompson, but a minute later Casey Paschall hit David Porter for 51 yards and a score to give TCU the lead again at 28-24.  Two more Cantele field goals made it 30-28 Wildcats before Oberkrom hit his 56 yarder, setting the stage for Cantele’s game winner.  Waters threw for 234 yards and Sams rushed for 109 for the Cats while Paschall threw for 248 for TCU.  K-State picked up their fourth straight win and now stand at 4-3 in the Big 12, 6-4 overall.  They host Oklahoma next week at 11 AM for Senior Day.
