Warmth Hangs Tough

Showers and a few thundershowers will end by noon today followed by partly cloudy skies this afternoon.  Highs will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s.  Under a mostly cloudy sky tonight lows will drop to the mid and upper 40s.  There will be a chance for more showers late tonight, Thursday and into Thursday night.  Between midnight tomorrow night and sunrise Friday the rain will change to freezing rain.  Freezing rain and/or freezing drizzle should continue until about midday Friday.  Highs Thursday will be in the lower 50s.  Highs Friday will only be in the lower 30s.

The weekend will be mostly sunny, dry but cold.  Highs Saturday will be in the lower to mid 30s.  Highs by Sunday will struggle to make the upper 30s.  Overnight lows Saturday will be the coldest we’ve seen so far this year.  We’ll wake up Sunday to temperatures ranging from 9-13 degrees.  Disconnect the garden hose.
