Under partly sunny skies today high temperatures should top out in the lower to mid 70s. The chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms will be on the rise this afternoon and will continue tonight through Saturday night. Some of the storms could produce large hail along with locally heavy rains. Highs Saturday will hover around 70 degrees. Showers will be likely Sunday though the chance for rain should be winding down late in the day. Highs Sunday will cool to the lower and mid 60s.

Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy and dry. Highs Monday will range from the upper 50s to lower 60s. Highs should warm into the mid and upper 60s Tuesday. Another chance for thunderstorms will find northeast Kansas next Wednesday with temperatures warming into the lower and mid 70s.
