Woman Leads Police On Chase Up Topeka Blvd.

A woman has been arrested after she led police on a chase up Topeka Blvd.

Officers were originally called to the 37th street Walmart after the store called in a shoplifter.

When officers arrived they tried to stop the van the woman was driving.

But she didn’t obey the lights and sirens.

The chase went up Topeka Blvd starting at 37th.

With speeds topping 35mph, officers tell WIBW NewsNow she hit 2 sets of stop sticks, flattening two of her tires.

The van then came to a stop at 20th and Topeka Blvd in front of Capitol City Nissan.

She was arrested on various charges.
