Commodity Broker Matt Hines of Loewen & Associates was the guest on Wednesday morning’s Ag Issues program on 580 WIBW. Hines discussed what the progress of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement will potentially mean for U.S. agriculture. Hines also talked about the status of a possible Phase One trade deal with China, and the impact that could have for U.S. producers. The USDA released the monthly WASDE report on Tuesday. Hines discussed the USDA estimates. He also talked about crop growing conditions in South America, Australia, Russia/Ukraine and Western Europe.
