Week two of the college football season is finished and one state school is riding high the other is looking for answers.
The Kansas State Wildcat football team obliterated the Bowling Green Falcons 52-0. It was the first shutout since 2015 and largest margin of victory since 2002.
Kansas lost to Coastal Carolina 12-7 at The Booth on Saturday. It was not the best game for the offense but the defense showed up again for the second straight game.
Texas lost a heartbreaker to LSU in Austin. The Longhorn defense struggled all game long.
West Virginia had a hard time stopping Missouri’s Kelly Bryant as the Tigers did whatever they wanted against the Mountaineers.
The rest of the Big 12 cruised to victories with some monster blowouts by Oklahoma, Baylor.
