The Rolling Hills Zoo is rolling out the red carpet for Dad on Father’s Day with their annual Car Show on Sunday.
More than 100 vehicles, from sports cars to classic cars, will be featured across the 65 acres of zoological park. The public is encouraged to enter their vehicles with a chance to earn prizes.
“Sunday morning, we start bringing the cars in at 7 o’clock,” said Rolling Hills Zoo Marketing Director Linda Henderson. “So, if anybody is out there, who wants to bring their car down and be a part of this, they certainly can. We have cash prizes for best of show, people’s choice, participant’s choice, and director’s choice.”
Although the focus on Sunday will be on Dad, the entire family will find activities to interest them.
“We do have bounce houses for the kids because the kids want to do their own thing while Dad’s looking at all the cars and checking them all out,” said Henderson. “We will, of course, have our live animal encounters. We will have face painting, and snow cones. The giraffe feed station will be open and our new tigers are out…So, it’s a great time to see all of the animals.”
Admission is free for Dad’s with a paid child’s admission to the zoo. For more information, visit rollinghillszoo.org.
