The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin work to place rock on the shoulders of K-4 from U.S. 24 to K-92 on Monday, July 8, weather permitting.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane and controlled by a pilot car through the seven-mile project from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should expect delays of up to 15 minutes and are encouraged to add extra time to their travel schedule.
The project is in Shawnee County and Jefferson County and is expected to be finished by Friday, July 12. Please use extra caution in the work zone area.
