A person who police say robbed a bank in Arkansas was caught in Kansas with some of the loot on Thursday.
A Junction City police officer stopped 45-year-old Nathaniel Painter of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas for speeding around 2:45 p.m. on I-70.
Painter was still in possession of most of the money that was taken from a First National Bank branch in Paragould, Arkansas.
A man told a bank employee he had a weapon after he entered the bank branch around 5 p.m. Monday and got away with cash.
Painter is being held in Geary County without bond pending extradition.
