Police asking for help in Manhattan Aggravated Assault case from Sunday

Riley County Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of a shooting from over the weekend.

Police were called just after 3 a.m. Sunday to a report of a large fight in progress in the parking lot of a house party located in the 1300 block of Fremont Street in Manhattan.

Shortly thereafter RCPD received multiple reports of shots fired with people running from the area.

The house where the fight occurred was hit by bullets. There have been no reports of injuries.

An Aggravated Assault report was filed listing several males as victims ranging in ages from 31 to 21 years of age.

The person who allegedly fired the shots was described as a black male wearing a white t-shirt and acid washed jeans.

No arrests have been made.
