An earthquake Saturday morning in Oklahoma was felt by many in Kansas.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.4 tremor just before 9 a.m. struck about 15 and a half miles east of Cherokee, Oklahoma.
The earthquake was fairly shallow, at a depth of just over 3 miles, so many felt it as far north and east as Topeka.
