All eight football classifications are down to their final four after sectional round play on Friday night. KSHSAA has released the official sub-state brackets for each class.
Two Topeka teams are playing on into the semifinals. Topeka High beat Junction City 35-21 to make the 6A semifinals, the first time the Trojans have played in a semifinal since 1973. Hayden returned to sub-state for the fifth time in the last six seasons with a 14-6 win over Frontenac.
