Pavement resurfacing on I-70/KTA will impact traffic using the Kansas Turnpike’s two Lawrence toll plazas beginning at 7 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15 and 16 continuing overnight until 6 am the next morning.
On Tuesday, October 15, paving will occur on Lawrence/US 59 interchange ramps located at mile marker 202 I-70/KTA. Westbound I-70/KTA drivers will need to use the Lawrence/US 40 interchange located at mile marker 204 to reach Lawrence. Likewise, drivers from Lawrence wishing to go west on I-70/KTA will also need to use the Lawrence/US 40 interchange.
On Wednesday, October 16, paving will switch locations to occur on Lawrence/US 40 interchange ramps. Westbound I-70/KTA drivers, and Lawrence drivers wishing to travel west on I-70/KTA, will need to use the Lawrence/US 59 exit at mile marker 202.
