Two people taken to hospital after Topeka crash Monday morning

NEWS RELEASE FROM SHAWNEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an accident at SE 29th st and SE West Edge Road this morning.

The accident happened around 8:30 a.m.  A Hyundai Elantra driven by 17-year-old Cayden Zoeller of Topeka was traveling westbound on 29th street when he rear-ended a Honda Accord that was stopped at a stoplight on West Edge Road.  The Accord was driving by 43-year-old Nokomis Jackson.

The incident is still under investigation.
