WIBW Radio/KAN Podcast: Climatologist Mary Knapp

Climatologist Mary Knapp with the Weather Data Library at Kansas State University’s Department of Agronomy was the guest on Friday morning’s Ag Issues program.  Knapp discussed the severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall that swept thru Eastern Kansas early Friday morning, with rainfall amounts from available from Mesonet.ksu.edu.  Knapp also talked about whether Kansas would see any weather pattern changes due to Hurricane Dorian which is expected to reach Florida on Monday.  Knapp also discussed the long range forecast, and what that means for the maturity and development of corn, soybeans and sorghum.
