Kansas City District Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Col. Bill Hannan Jr. and Chief of Emergency Management, Jud Kneuvean joined us on Wednesday Ag Issues program Colonel Hannan and Kneuvean updated conditions around the region with regards to winter snow and precipitation for the upcoming spring season.  After last year’s flooding, that caused damage to a number of levees and dams along the Missouri River, they voiced their concerns about another year of flooding with so much of the flood damage not repaired. They also discussed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers working with the states of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa by proposing to conduct a long-term study of flood risk in the lower Missouri River.
