WIBW Radio/KAN Podcast: Roger McEowen Comments on Agricultural Law and Taxation Issues

Roger McEowen, Kansas Farm Bureau Professor of Agricultural Law and Taxation at the Washburn University School of Law joined us on Monday’s Ag Issues program. Several topics were discussed including the topic that some costs of Ancestry Kits are deductible as medical care and a case concerning a pipeline easement that dates back to 1919. McEowen also discussed a court decision stating that hemp production cannot start until USDA finalizes the rules on production. He also talked about a recent court decision that was critical of USDA’s Swampbuster rules.
