Roger McEowen, Kansas Farm Bureau Professor of Agricultural Law and Taxation at the Washburn University School of Law joined us on Monday’s Ag Issues program. The discussion focused on the decision handed this past Wednesday by U.S. District Court judge in Kansas City, Kansas, striking down a portion of the Kansas Farm Animal and Field Crop and Research Facilities Protect Act, (better known as the Kansas ag gag law) that was enacted by the Kansas Legislature in 1990. McEowen also discussed a case that states Aerial Application of Ag Chemical Not Inherently Dangerous Activity. He also looked at a Kansas case that has a financing statement that was “seriously misleading” and Creditor that was unsecured.
