Roger McEowen, Kansas Farm Bureau Professor of Agricultural Law and Taxation at the Washburn University School of Law joined us on Monday’s Ag Issues program. Among the recent cases looked at, were two cases involving charitable deduction. McEowen looked at a case where it was determined that cutting horse activity was not deemed as a hobby. He also looked at a case in a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy where a cram-down interest rate was determined. Finally, McEowen reviewed a case where it was determined that a dog bite is not foreseeable.
